Cyberpunk 2077 Next-Gen Console Patch Has Arrived

he much-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen update is finally out, and, according to the developer CD Projekt RED, it includes a slew of quality enhancements, graphics fixes, and new gameplay elements, all tuned for the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles.

The first thing that strikes the eye is that the updated version of the uber-popular action-adventure game boasts some noticeably improved graphics across the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X platforms. Among other grand changes on the graphics front, the lighting has also been redesigned to start using the benefits of ray tracing for creating a more realistic picture.
Regarding gameplay enrichments, we see a variety of new weaponry displayed at the 2nd Amendment weapons store, a reworked economy that should make it easier for the player to earn cash in the game, and some overhauled NPCs that introduce more interaction and romance opportunities. The update brings many more customization options that not only let us tweak V’s hairstyle and face mid-game but also re-do the apartment and even rent new living spaces in different parts of Night City.
The developer CDPR has tweaked the perk system as well. It has become more advanced and intuitive, allowing players to redistribute skills. The enemy AI seems to have received a complete makeover, passers-by and vehicle drivers are made to react much more realistically to the player's actions, and NPCs no longer vanish as soon as they go out of your sight. The reworked map and new filters should facilitate navigation a great deal.
