Minecraft is a game with a wide and creative community of fans. The massive open-world attracts more and more new gamers, while those who join the community never leave it. It is always filled with new mods, NPCs offered by developers, and holiday events. The game is available on almost all consoles and platforms. Recently, Minecraft devoted fans decided to share their view on an alternative reality where Minecraft could be available on Atari 2600.

This is not the first time fans experiment with their favorite games, combining them together in the new art. Players also like to experiment with graphics from the games, changing them based on the different styles. They can take the new game and create a poster that may look like an old console’s version. Fans have already experimented with The Last of Us 2 and its look on PS1. There is also an art revealing the popular RPG Genshin Impact played on the Nintendo system. Such tributes usually are highly appreciated by the audience.

The artist with the nickname Ultimate Ink Trash has shared the new art. Minecraft's traditional cover poster was changed into the classic poster for Atari 2600 console. It goes back to the 2nd generation of the whole gaming experience. The console was famous for its creative covers for games. No artist wants to pay tribute to the nostalgic past of gaming. The cover shows Steve from Minecraft, the famous blocky guy who is looking in horror at the Creeper. Steve has the helmet and the ax, apparently ready for mining.
