t took several months for Twitter and now the company finally releases a display with integrated podcasts into the Spaces tab. The tab received new name Audio which totally matches the new features. It looks like the social network decided to switch its focus to audio content.
The new-old tab that is now called Audio will show a wide range of podcasts, as well as the content from Spaces on one display. Both, live and pre-recorded topics users share on Spaces will be available via the tab. Yet, for users’ convenience, Twitter decided to separate all the broadcasts there into topics. Twitter calls them Stations.
These Stations will definitely ease up the searching process for users since it is easier to tap on their favorite topic and find anything related to it. Moreover, the audio feed will all be categorized. The new feature will make users' experience with the audio on Twitter advanced. Officials from Twitter claim that Station's smart content separation will help you to easily pick your favorite podcasts by topics while you go somewhere or are currently at work and multitasking. You will not have to search for the themes you like or the Spaces you prefer for hours. Instead, you will find all the content neatly categorized.
There will be 3 different sections on the tab. It will be Stations on the top, which you can scroll horizontally, with all the themes and topics you want. Under the Stations, there will be Spaces with the list of popular broadcasts. Below that there will be a list of Spaces that will be available in the future so you can build your plans to attend them. They will be available later online, but you can still plan to listen to them live.
What do you think about the new addition to the Spaces? Do you like to listen to podcasts? Express your thoughts in the comments below.
