reating your own blast furnace in Minecraft is easy and will provide you with all the smelting needs for your gear. With this guide, you'll have a blast furnace set up and running in no time!

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

You'll need eight pieces of cobblestone, three smooth stone blocks, five iron ingots, and one furnace to create a blast furnace. You can find the materials from mining or from chests around the world. The iron ingots can be crafted from Iron ore which can be found by mining underground. Smooth stones can also be mined underground or found near water sources such as lakes or rivers.

Step 2: Crafting Your Furnace

Once your materials are gathered, open up the crafting menu by pressing 'E'. Then add the eight pieces of cobblestone to the crafting grid to craft a normal furnace. This is an essential part of creating a blast furnace, so ensure it's done before moving on to step 3!

Step 3: Crafting Your Blast Furnace

Now that you've crafted your regular furnace, it's time to start making the blast furnace! Add two iron ingots on either side of the regular furnace in the crafting grid, then add three more iron ingots above them like so; (iron - furnace - iron). Now add three smooth stone blocks along the bottom row, and now you're ready for some blasting action!

Step 4: Smelting with Your Blast Furnace

Finally, it's time for some smelting action! To use your newly created blast furnace, just place whatever item you wish to smelt inside (such as ore blocks) along with fuel (such as coal). Then press 'use' and watch as it smelts twice as fast as with a regular furnace! Collecting items from this block also gives less experience than using an ordinary furnace so keep that in mind when using it.
